Pöls-Oberkurzheim, Österreich - On June 13, 2025, the second Heinzel Pöls Trophy took place under bright sunshine in Pöls-Oberkurzheim. With over 350 starters: inside, including 150 children, a new participant record was set up. This event, which is under the motto "Running - Running helps!" stands, not only attracted the athletes: on the inside, but also connects the local community in the Murtal.
The event, organized by Daniela and Maria, started in the grounds of Zulstoff Pöls AG in the early afternoon with the popular paper gnome run and various school runs. The children had the opportunity to cover distances between 100 and 1,000 meters. Mayor Mag. Gernot Esser and Maria Stradner led through the program as moderators, while the participants were waiting for the main competitions.

The highlight of the event was the 1- and 2-hour run and a Nordic walking competition over the route of 1,800 meters. The starting signal was given at 5:00 p.m., and many employees: Inside the Zollstoff Pöls AG, including CEO Mike Resnicek, were also at the start. Vice Mayor Hagen Roth also did not take the opportunity to actively participate.
A special feature of the Heinzel Pöls Trophy was the social component: part of the starting funds benefits the Lebenshilfe region Judenburg. The event not only showed the sporting ambition of the participants: inside, but also the large heart of the region. After the award ceremony, the After Race Party was celebrated, which ended the day properly.
