Musical highlight: 51st chamber music days started in Irdning!

The 51st International Chamber Music and Master Course Days (IKMT) in Irdning brought together musicians from all over the world this year. From July 5 to 12, 2025, this event offered young talents and experienced musicians a platform to refine their skills and exchange ideas. The lecturer: Eckart Runge

A particularly remarkable lecturer this year was Eckart Runge. The cellist, curator and educator has an impressive career. After completing his studies, he gave concerts all over the world as a cellist of Artemis Quartet around the world for 30 years. He has been a professor of string chamber music at the Robert Schumann University in Düsseldorf since 2023 and has now brought his experience into the chamber music days. His commitment to the music scene and the numerous prices that he won at the ARD competition in Munich, make him an enrichment for the student body and the cultural center of this event.

The chamber music and master course days in Irdning are therefore not only a training measure for many talents, but also a shop window for excellent musical achievements.
