Seven new fire brigade managers appointed-congratulations!

Leibnitz, Österreich - The Fire Brigade Association Leibnitz has a reason to celebrate! Seven new managers were chosen after they successfully passed the demanding commander examination at the State Fire Brigade and Civil Protection School. The exam took place on July 8, 2025 and presented the result of months of intensive preparation, such as "https://www.meinbezirk.at/leibnitz/c-lokales/sieben-neue-fuehrungskraefte-fuer-fuer-fire brigade association_a7445551"> meinbezirk.at .

A total of 25 fire brigade members took part in this 322. Commandant examination, which had a multi -stage process: First, the candidates had to pass an online examination, followed by an oral examination that was taken by a competent commission. Among other things, this sat down from LFR Erwin Grangl, the headmaster, as well as OBR d. LFV DI (FH) Gerhard Grain and State Fire Brigade Inspector OBR Josef Plank together. The organizer of the exam was OBI d. LFV Philipp Pichler, who took over the support of the participants.

"We warmly congratulate our new managers on their success and commitment to the fire brigade," said Krenn in a speech.

The importance of the commander's examination

The commander examination is the highest fire brigade training in Styria and is of great importance for the future management of the fire brigades in the country. On the website of the State Fire Brigade Association this becomes clear: The participants not only had to demonstrate extensive expertise, but also the ability to conduct a fire brigade.

This examination forms the conclusion of an extensive commanding course in which the fire brigade members are prepared for their future tasks. The course includes a wide range of topics that are conveyed in a four -week course and ends with the examination, which consists of written and oral parts. For a visit to this course, a medical confirmation of the fire service suitability, the submission of a homework and a minimum age of 18 years are required, as shown on the website of the fire brigade school

Overall, the successful completion of this exam shows how important the training in the fire service is and how committed the fire brigade members in the Leibnitz district are. It remains to be hoped that these new leaders will bring a fresh wind into the fire brigades and further strengthen their operational readiness.
