Kaindorf celebrates 3,000 inhabitants - kindergarten for the future!

In the market town of Kaindorf there is currently reason to be happy: the number of residents has exceeded the 3,000 mark. The municipality has had 3,035 inhabitants since July 6, 2019. Mayor Thomas Teubl, who has been in office since June 2016, sees a clear indication of the growth and positive development of the region. Kaindorf not only stands out by its demographic growth, but also by significant investments in the infrastructure.

An important project that the municipality is currently implementing is the renovation and expansion of the local kindergarten, the conclusion of which is due a month before the official opening on July 5. With an investment volume of around five million euros, the facility is modernized and an extension for three groups and a new kitchen with dining area is expanded. Childcare in particular is an issue that is very popular in the current time: The number of childcare places in Kaindorf was increased by four to eleven groups, which enables the care of around 180 children. Thanks to these measures, every child who needs a childcare place actually receives one.

The positive development of the community is not only among the population, but also in the economy. The number of jobs has increased from 850 to 1,200, while the unemployment rate was almost halved - from 5.9 % to remarkable 2.9 %. These stable numbers speak for themselves and make Kaindorf an attractive location for families and businesses.

Another step to improve the quality of life was taken with the broadband expansion, which has now largely been completed. The establishment of the Energy Community of Kaindorf, which was decided by the local council in February, also shows that the community focuses on sustainable energy future.

Cultural lovers are not neglected at the upcoming events. The opening festival of the kindergarten will take place on July 5, followed by a beach volleyball tournament of the volunteer fire brigade on July 12th and the primary celebration of Thomas Lang on July 13th. The sports enthusiasts can also look forward to the Ultra Rad Challenge on July 18 and 19, while the municipality sets another highlight on July 27th at the Jakobin Sunday.

The situation in Kaindorf therefore seems promising, and the citizens: inside can look forward to a lively community with a variety of options. A look into the near future shows that there are certainly still many exciting developments.
