Mitanond Open-Air: A summer party for the whole family in the Elisabethpark!

The mitanond open-air festival delighted visitors on the last Sunday in June in the Elisabethpark in Zell am See. The event was aimed at both young and old and offered a varied program that focused on the musical talents on site. The wind class Zell am See, consisting of the little musicians between the ages of 7 and 9, presented their progress after a year of learning. The foundation of an adult wind class in 2024 was particularly gratifying, which offered an impressive music program under the direction of Erwin Wieser, supported by the state of Salzburg and Citizens' Music.

A highlight at the festival was the appearance of the music orchestra , which caused enthusiasm with its successes from the state competition. The end of the evening was the Citizens' Music Zell am See, which enchanted the audience with a colorful music repertoire. The evening was moderated by Sarah Hyde, which provided a relaxed and happy atmosphere. A big thank you went to all participants, the Seebistro Haifive for the donated ice cream and drone pilot Peter Zöchling, who held the best moments of the event with his aerial photographs.

Family -friendly offers in summer

Summer in Zell am See still has numerous events to offer. For example, there are workshops for safe driving on MTB trails that are aimed at downhill travel to those interested. Here professional mountain bikers give valuable tips and tricks. The exercises start in the flat and are ideal for preparing for the trail. The entry point for the popular Maiskogel Trail is only a stone's throw away, where adventurers can let off steam on the 3.7 kilometer route with steep curves, waves and small jumps.

For the little bikers, exciting activities take place at the Kids Bike Bike Day, which is intended for children and adolescents aged 8 and over. The meeting point is at 9:30 a.m. in front of the Kaprun Center coffers and the event takes about 3 hours. The mandatory equipment includes a mountain bike, helmet and schooner. If you do not have your own equipment, you can rent rental material at Bründl Sports, with registration that is required by the previous day.
