Sano transport devices open up new work: innovation and growth in Lichtenberg!
A big moment for Sano Transportgeräte GmbH: On June 27, 2025, the company celebrates the opening of a new, state -of -the -art company headquarters in Lichtenberg. What started as a one-person company of Jochum Bierma over three decades ago has now become an international world market leader who employs around 70 employees at this location. The impressive new construction project triples the operating area to around 11,000 square meters, spread over three floors. The aim of the new building is to create more efficient production processes and to offer space for innovative product developments.
The focus of the new premises is on the development of progressive and sustainable transport solutions that make everyday life easier for customers. In a virtual greeting in the new building, the company presented its state -of -the -art institutions. The vision behind Sano is led by founder Jochum Bierma, who emphasizes the continuous urge to innovate and the technological commitment. The product range ranges from electrical staircase to manual sack carts to handling carts, all of which are designed for highest ergonomics and user -friendliness.
sustainability in focus
A central aspect in planning the new building was sustainability. "We attach great importance to resource conservation," explains Bierma. This is underlined by the integration of regional construction companies and suppliers. Today, it is essential for companies such as Sano to integrate sustainable practices. The transport sector contributes significantly to greenhouse gas emissions in the EU, which the company deliberately takes into account in its actions. The introduction of climate -friendly solutions is therefore very popular, especially in view of the increasing carbon prices.
Sano is also known for its patented mobile stairstream solutions that not only promote heavy loads, but also people with impaired mobility. With the Liftkar product line, Sano has established itself as a leader in the area of safe transportation of walking -in people and exports the products to over 50 countries, whereby the export share is more than 90%.
The future in view
CFO Markus Reisinger is optimistic about the future developments of the company and emphasizes the clear focus on innovative mobility and transport technology solutions. "We want to develop industry -leading solutions for real challenges," says Reisinger. This is not only shown in product development, but also in the entire corporate strategy that aims at continuous adjustments to the changing market conditions.
With the opening of the new building, Sano not only sees a further step into the future, but also a strong impulse for the entire region. The more than 90 employees of the international sales and service network work in the background to carry the company mission into the world. For more information about Sano and your products, visit the official website: sano-stairclimbers.com .
