Vorchdorf, Österreich - The first weekend in July was all about small Italian speedsters in the Almtal when the tenth cinquecento-meeting . Organized by the Tourismus Association Traunsee-Almtal, the classic Fiat 500 and Puch 500 delivered an impressive spectacle for the numerous fans and onlookers. Under the motto "Dolce Vita in the Salzkammergut", visitors experienced a mixture of celebrations, driving and enjoyment on two days that fed to the nostalgic flair of these charming classic cars.

A Highlight of the event was the Italian night, which delighted the guests present with culinary accents and rousing music. Special trips on the Traunsee Tetram and the Vorchdorferbahn, which led the participants through the beautiful region, provided additional fun. Around 60 participants enjoyed a traditional star trip that really got going.

The tour in detail

The day started for the participants with the registration from 8:30 a.m. at the information stand of the tourism association at Schlossplatz in Vorchdorf. The start of the exit was between 9:15 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. The route, which stretched over about 57 kilometers, led the drivers through beautiful landscapes and varied cuisine. The first stage contained a visit to the Gmundner Keramik , where the participants could enjoy an exclusive tour. After that, the soul lounge at the Sebahnhof Gmunden was waiting for you with an aperitif, followed by a lunch break in the beer -Heurige rankleit and a visit to the region's largest beer bottle museum, which includes over 14,000 exhibits.

These culinary stops not only let the palate, but also the anticipation for the other attractions of the region. In the afternoon there were also numerous ways to explore the offer of the area, such as at the village festival in Viechtwang or at concerts in Ebensee, which made an extension of the stay tasty.

The love for Fiat 500

The enthusiasm for the little speedsters is not just a trend, but a real passion. The Fiat 500 Club plays an important role in maintaining this automotive culture. Founded in 2000, the association now has almost 70 members and promotes the maintenance and maintenance of the iconic car brand Fiat 500. The next big event of the club is an international meeting that will take place from June 27th to 29th, 2025 in Fellbach-Schmiden near Stuttgart.
