The summer open-air not only has musical charm, but also follows an important social purpose. The entire net proceeds flow into children's and youth projects in the region. Since the founding of the Kiwanis Club Eferding, over 450,000 euros have been collected for social projects, which underlines the long tradition of the club in the area of support from the needy.

The motivation to organize such events is also reflected in the last charity concerts of the Kiwanis Club. In June, two concerts took place in Weißensee and Hermagor, in which opera star Bariton Markus Werba, accompanied by Stefano Salvatori on the piano, provided musical delights. Kiwanis President Alberta Werba thanked the participants, while the audience reacted with standing ovation. The proceeds of these concerts also went to support needy children in the region.
