PTS Melk/Mank inspires the state competition with a colorful skull!

Melk, Österreich - A great success for the students of the Melk/Man's polytechnic school! At the State competition you have reached second place in the department "Health, Beauty and Social Affairs". In a gripping competition that took place at a sporting competition event in the Europark, more than 100 participants from 17 polytechnic schools compete against each other and show their talents in different disciplines.

This year's topic was held in the spirit of the "Dia de los Muertos" and focused on the "Mexican skull". The creative minds of the PTS Melk/Mank, Mona Enengel and Anna-Lena Taborsky have caused a stir with their unique design in pink, white and black-far from the traditional red-black combination. Mona conjured up an enchanting hair wreath of peony and roses, while Anna-Lena artistically designed the face of her model Anna-Lena Mader with a skull and sparkling eyes.

diverse competition and creative achievements

The participants had four hours to complete their works and they were not alone. The winners were chosen across eight departments, including categories such as electrical, painting, construction and tourism. LR Daniela Gutschi emphasized the importance of this practical training and pointed out that the competition was supported by the state of Salzburg with 3,000 euros. The recognition that the students get here is an important step in their professional career.

A remarkable part of the event was a team competition in which the students were able to demonstrate their make -up art. The expert jury, consisting of experts from the guilds and teachers, had the difficult task of choosing the winners. The best were chosen in the individual categories. Here are some of the winners:

A look into the future

Such competitions are not only an excellent way to promote the talents of the young people, but also essential for their professional development. In addition to the competition in Salzburg, the event "PTS skills tirol" will take place, in which 125 young people from 22 polytechnic schools will take place. This competition will surely prepare the participants for the upcoming federal competitions that will be held in May and June. The aim is to strengthen the polytechnic schools and to further promote tomorrow.

We are pleased to congratulate the courageous and creative pupils of the PTS Melk/Mank on their success and are excited to see what the next challenge has for these committed talents!
