Kobra Schroffenauer inspires the Ugotchi gymnastics in Lilienfeld!
Lilienfeld, Österreich - An exciting time for the children's gymnastics participants of the SU Lilienfeld is coming to an end. The last unity of the Ugotchi gymnastics, which is primarily aimed at the flexibility, was recently celebrated with fun and joy during a joint ice meal and an outlook on the Traisen. Patrick Schroffenauer, better known as the "Kobra" of SC Lilienfeld, has decided to take part in these activities with his son. In a conversation, he emphasized the importance of gymnastics as a basic sport that is essential for the sporting development of children. "Sport is not only movement, but shapes the children in every respect," says Schroffenauer.
Together with the trainers Christina Bauer, Sophie Haider and Oliver Haider, a hike was organized by the Lilienfeld elementary school to Stangental playground. This campaign took place as part of the last mother-child gymnastics hour before the summer break and shows how important the sporting activity is for the children.
ugotchi gymnastics as part of a larger initiative
The success of the Ugotchi gymnastics is part of a larger trend: the sports union has recently exceeded the mark of 900,000 participating children. This impressively proves how important sporting activities are for early childhood development. Sport not only has physical advantages, but also promotes emotional, social and cognitive skills. Studies show that sport strengthens the cardiovascular system, improves coordination and promotes healthy lifestyles. In addition, children learn to deal with pressure and celebrate successes what strengthens them in their entire development. [Dynamicsandlearning] emphasizes how sport can also contribute to improving academic performance.
The challenges in sporting activities, especially for children with disabilities, will not be forgotten. Including sports programs and prioritization of fun and learning help everyone to be given the opportunity to be active. This also evaluated Patrick Schroffenauer, who found how important it is to create a supportive environment in which children can completely exhaust the advantages of sport.
The call to more movement
Recently, ÖFB team boss Ralf Rangnick asked that every school in Austria introduces daily exercise units for children. This "daily movement unit" is supported by the umbrella organizations ASSKÖ, ASVÖ and Sportunion and is considered an international successful project. The importance of this initiative cannot be assessed highly enough, because it offers a valuable opportunity to sustainably promote the health and development of the children.
The upcoming Sport Austria Finals in Innsbruck from June 18 to 22, 2025 also represent a fascinating platform, in which Sasha Serebrennikova from the Hängelbührer Club Styria will also be part of the top of the world in air sports. Here it becomes clear again how broad the spectrum of sporting activities in Austria and that the Austrian sports landscape goes beyond pure children's gymnastics.
Overall, it becomes clear that the fascination with sport for the little ones in our region is constantly growing. Whether in the context of Ugotchi gymnastics or other sporting offers-it can be hoped that as many children as possible can discover the advantages of sport and share their passion with like-minded people. Just like Patrick Schroffenauer and his son show.
