cultural framework of Baden-Baden

Baden-Baden in the 19th century was a real “summer capital” in Europe and a center of culture. Great artists like Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy lived and played music here, who humorously reported in a letter about his musical experiences in the company house. Mendelssohn also felt inspired by the spraying music culture in the city, in which musical performances and social gatherings were alive. This rich history will revive with the upcoming memorial events.

The upcoming concerts not only offer a tribute to the big composers, but also a fascinating look into the cultural past of Baden-Baden. The city cordially invites all music enthusiasts to become part of these memories and celebrations.
