The inline cup Carinthia is rolling into the ice rink in Steindorf for the second time this year. On June 20 and 21, 2025, sports enthusiasts can look forward to an exciting tournament, at which the best teams from all over Austria meet. Felix Maxa, one of the organizers of the tournament, emphasizes that this format of "3 against 3" promises a lot of action for both players and spectators. After the successful test phase 2024, the organizers are looking forward to an even larger number of around 70 players and 12 teams.

On Friday, June 20, the group games start, while the final games on Saturday, June 21st, are expected to start at 2:00 p.m. Among the participating teams are top -class names such as the Derlandle Boys with Maximilian Rebernig and Elias Walla, SC Pirates with Luca Erne as well as teams such as the Mühlebacher boys and the KAC Stars. a tournament with heart

The organizers pay particular attention to the charitable component. The proceeds of the cup are devoted to a non -profit purpose; In the last year, proud 1277 euros were collected. In addition, there is the opportunity for fans to exchange ideas with professional ice hockey players from the EC VSV during a meet & greet.

Speaking of ice hockey: Sport has also found its way into the Austrian kindergartens in recent years. Initiatives such as the unique ice hockey kindergarten program, which was implemented by Enzo, the ice hockey junior center east, in cooperation with the Austrian ice hockey association (ÖEHV) and its umbrella organizations, promote the youngest interest. These measures aim to integrate ice hockey not only as a leisure activity, but also as part of school training. From 2022 to 2024, kindergarten programs have already been introduced in seven federal states, which means that over 700 children were able to gain initial experience in ice hockey. From 2025 the program will continue in a new form.
