CSU Feldkirchen relies on Vanvolsem: New wind for the municipality!
Feldkirchen, Deutschland - A fresh wind blows through Feldkirchen! Herbert Vanvolsem was unanimously elected CSU Feldkirchen candidate for the office of the first mayor. The decision was made in a meeting of the CSU local association, which took place on July 1, 2025. It was the deputy local chairman Erik Seng who proposed Vanvolsem for the election period 2026 to 2032. In his speech, he criticized the current state under the existing head of the community and called for a real change of policy. "The second wants to be the first," was the motto of the meeting, which underlines the unmistakable urge after change.
vanvolsem itself is described as a “maker and tacker”, someone who wants to tackle the challenges of the community in a solution -oriented and activity. "From May 2026 I will drive the local development," promised Vanvolsem, emphasizing the local development concept and infrastructure planning. His goal is to strengthen the cohesion in the community by supporting and organizing events in particular.
Future shape together
As part of its election campaign, the CSU local association will work out a detailed election program, which will be under the motto "Feldkirchen 2026-2032: Design the future". A strong team of committed municipal council candidates who have a variety of ideas and plans for the region should be presented before winter. The local association of the CSU, which has been active in Feldkirchen since 1954 and celebrated the official foundation in 1964, sees itself well positioned. Politically interested citizens are committed to promoting Bavaria, and regular round tables offer the opportunity to exchange ideas about current topics and developments.
The Christian-Social Union in Bavaria e.V. (CSU) has a long history and is known as a People's Party that has played a formative role in Bavarian politics in recent decades. The CSU enables their organizational independence to effectively represent Bavarian interests in federal politics. In the past, the CSU often acted without a coalition partner and dominated the political landscape of Bavaria. However, this could change in the future if you look at the falling votes and the competition by parties such as free voters as well as the right -wing populist AfD and the Greens.
With the choice of Vanvolsem, the CSU now sets the course for the future of the municipality of Feldkirchen. It remains exciting to see how the political events will develop and whether the desired change of policy can succeed. There are some challenges of the agenda, and the citizens can look forward to lively discussions and new impulses.
