Ainringer Rallye duo fights in second place in the Murtal!

Last weekend the fourth course of the Austrian Rally State Championship took place in Judenburg, in which Florian Auer and his passenger Elke Irlacher from Ainring-Feldkirchen did their best. The event was held in summer weather and in front of numerous audiences and was part of the Austrian Rallye Challenge (ARC). Auer and Irlacher drove with a Mitsubishi Evo and had reported the start number 6, such as OVB-Online.

The team was able to show a strong performance in the first special tests despite initial difficulties in choosing the tire. So they achieved a good time in the first exam, even if they rely on tires that were too soft. In the second passage they reached the sixth total time and switched to a hard semislick tire. Auer, however, had to deal with the new set of tires and found himself in seventh place before the fourth WP.

heartbeat final and unexpected difficulties

It became particularly challenging when the right wing of the vehicle broke during the fourth MS rating. This made driving much more difficult. The team was unable to complete the last day of the first day because it needed repairs. Thanks to the dedicated service team, the vehicle managed to repair the vehicle in good time for the next day. However, they received a ten-minute penalty and continued on Sunday with an ARC classification.

Overall, Auer and Irlacher ended the rally in the excellent second place in the ARC classification and only missed first place by ten seconds. Klemens Haingartner and Manfred Ambroschütz made the places among themselves. Due to the penalty period, however, no top position was possible in the Austrian championship. For Auer and Irlacher, the next chance is now at the Rallye Weiz, which takes place in mid -July.

A missed attempt in Lausitz

A look into the past shows that it was not always easy for Auer. He had considerable difficulties in the international Lausitz rally, which took place in early summer. Despite the support of his sponsors and the commitment in a Ford Fiesta Rally2, a World Cup vehicle, Auer with his co-pilot Irlacher remained in a promising 12th place until shortly before the end. However, a mistake led to slipping off the route, and after a motor damage, they had to give up a few kilometers before the finish PNP reported

These experiences show that the rally world is full of ups and downs. It remains exciting for Auer and Irlacher whether they can continue their successes in the Murtal. The next rally white promises to be challenging and exciting-the fans can be excited!

The ET King Rally Powered by Peter Hopf Erdbau in Judenburg has shown that with a little luck, positive experiences can be achieved even in difficult situations. Many fans and friends from the Motorsport team Auer accompanied the duo, which is always looking for contact with his supporters. The passion for sport remains unbroken.

The rally season has only started for Florian Auer and Elke Irlacher-and in the Rally World it will soon be the next adventure.
