Last weekend, Hornstein experienced a musical highlight that delighted young and old. As part of the event “Musik im Park”, which took place on Friday, July 4, the youth wind music of the Hornstein volunteer fire brigade created an excellent atmosphere. With pleasant temperatures and in the open air in the Hornsteiner Park, near the old school, numerous visitors found their place to listen to the sounds of young talents. The physical well -being was well taken care of: cool drinks and small delicacies spoiled the guests, while an ice dealer caused fresh cooling. My district reports that these events have a permanent place in the cultural life of the region. The youth brass music of the Hornstein volunteer fire brigade, which is under the direction of young musicians, is committed to presenting the goal of living brass music in a wide variety of styles.
