Pride festival in the track // garden: Celebrate diversity from June June 8th!

Wien Meidling, Österreich - in June 2025 Vienna transformed into a colorful center of Pride culture. Under the motto "Unite in Pride", numerous events take place that enrich the cultural life of the city. Particularly noteworthy is the festival in the track // garden, which will be organized from 04. to June 8, 2025. This celebration would like to set a strong solidarity, as Felix Bollen, the managing director of the Gleis // Garden, explains. Located at the site of the former Remise of Badner Bahn, the Gleis // Garden becomes a setting for impressive drag shows, exciting games and multi-layered information on queer topics.

A real highlight of the festival will be the show by Pandora Nox, the winner of "Drag Race Germany", on the opening day. With its performance "Drag Me To The Music Station", the dragqueen will delight the guests. But not only show acts are on the program. On the second day, visitors can test and have fun with a pub sex quiz of the Vienna AIDS help, moderated by Dragqueen Candylicious.

The celebration of the Pride Week will also provide LGBTQ+activist Aygyul on the third day. Interested parties also have the opportunity to practice queeryoga on June 8 and thus combine body and mind. The physical well -being is also taken care of: the track // garden offers special “pride cocktails” in which 50 percent of the revenues are donated. These cocktails are named according to drag performers, such as the "Bottle Blonde Citrus Blast" and the "Tronksy Montell Strawberry/Dragon Fruit Rum Cocktail".

In addition to the cocktails, the event is supplemented by motto decorations and free Pride flags. An information stand with materials on queer topics and awareness offers is present throughout the festival. So the track // garden becomes not only the place of celebration, but also of information and sensitization.

Pride variety in Vienna

The festival in the track // garden is only part of the larger pride event that takes place from May 31 to June 14th. In total, Vienna Pride attracts people to the city with over 50 events, including the Pride Village on Rathausplatz and the large rainbow parade on June 14, which is supposed to attract up to 300,000 visitors. A highlight will be the event on the Ringstrasse, in which the participants can show their solidarity at the Pride Run on June 13th at 8 p.m.

The Pride Village is open from June 12th to 14th and offers an extensive stage program with well -known artists such as Conchita Wurst and workshops on various topics. The rainbow parade begins on June 14th at 12 noon and will lead through the city center before it ends with a festive celebration at Rathausplatz. During the entire move there will also be a minute of commemoration that is reminiscent of important topics of the LGBTQ+community.
