Rainbow flag blows in Simmering: a strong sign of diversity!

Simmering, Österreich - A colorful sign of equality and diversity has been blowing at the Simmeringer Amtshaus since today. On the occasion of the Pride month, district head Thomas Steinhart (SPÖ) and numerous supporters: the rainbow flag inside. It stands not only for pride, but also for hope and solidarity within the LGBTIQ community. The hoist of the rainbow flag in Simmering is a step in the right direction to set a sign against discrimination and to take into account the recognition of the rights of all people. It remains to be hoped that such initiatives will make signs that also have an effect beyond local borders.
