Black Scorpions triumph at the MBM InlineCup 2025 in Feldkirch!

Feldkirch, Österreich - on June 3 and 4, 2025, Feldkirch turned into a mecca of the inline hockey when the MBM inlineCup 2025 celebrated its tenth edition. Ten teams competed against each other, and the spectators were able to look forward to a total of 143 goals - a considerable average of around 7.2 goals per game. While the temperatures were hot on Saturday, a slight temperature drop on Sunday caused better game conditions.

The HC Knights, who made it into the final round for the first time, were in the spotlight. The joy of success was great, but they were not the only ones who caused surprises. The incumbent title holder, the SC Pirates , had to be beaten in the quarterfinals against SC Nähmachina Feldkirch. This turn opened the way for the Black Scorpions, which the tournament ultimately won and retired for their final defeat in the previous year.

gripping games and narrow decisions

The tension in the final round was within reach. Six out of eight games were decided with just one goal difference, which further underlined the quality and competition among the participating teams. The spectators enjoyed exciting matches in which every decision was decisive. The atmosphere was so electrifying that it almost seemed as if the players grew beyond their borders.

sustainability and community spirit

A real eye -catcher was also the newly introduced deposit system, which was used to reduce the waste and showed positive results. With this measure, the event not only confirmed its sporting values, but also its commitment to the environment and the community. The MBM InlineCup has established itself as a platform that not only promotes sport, but also together in the inline hockey community.

For the HC Knights, who had to work on their performance before the MBM InlineCup, the appearance in Feldkirch was encouraging. After they had previously lost to SC Pirates Feldkirch, they showed the last game that they could increase. A peat festival that ended with 15:14 against SC Sewing Machinery Feldkirch made the hopes of the fans rise. This swing brings a breath of fresh air to the coming season.

All eyes are already focused on the next games, and the HC Knights are highly motivated to expand their good shape. Can you keep the same level at the next Gameday, which is scheduled for May 10, 2025 on the Oberau hockey field? The anticipation for the upcoming challenges is noticeable.
