Lienz, Österreich - Osttirol will be all about tradition and new life this Saturday, June 6th. The young farmers and rural youth of the Lienz district invite you to a festive move and celebrations, which are under the motto "Time travel on wheels - hond -sched from grandpa's time". The day begins at 2.30 p.m. with a solemn Holy Mass at Johannesplatz, followed by a festive move through the picturesque downtown.
At 4 p.m., the colorful weighing start to move, accompanied by music bands, flags and traditional horse breakdowns. This event is not only a feast for the eyes, but also an important part of the East Tyrolean culture, which is known for its lively traditions and customs. From around 6 p.m., visitors will be maintained musically in the RGO arena, including by the sauna host dance music, Mölltal Sound and Suntown Music. Entry takes place on a voluntary donation base, which will benefit the young farmers and rural youth.

Important to note: During the move, traffic impairments in the city center can occur between 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. You should plan that on arrival. On Sunday, visitors can look forward to the Dolomitenrad tour and the classic car rally of the Dölsach motorsport club. This starts at the Spar market at 12 noon and leads through the beautiful communities of East Tyrol.
For the participants of the rally, however, it depends on a rapid registration, as the registration deadline is on Sunday at 10.30 a.m. The participation fees are set for bicycles with 20 euros, for motorcycles and mopeds with 30 euros and for cars and tractors with 40 euros. A special highlight: with the classic car rally there is the possibility to win a Bianchi motorcycle from 1954!
