Important traffic information for the Dolomite Cycling Route on Sunday!

Next Sunday, June 8th, the beautiful landscape around Lienz will be transformed back into a radarena. The 35th Dolomite Cycling Route and the edition of the Super Giro Dolomiti are pending, and that means considerable restrictions and locking on numerous roads for traffic. But don't worry, this is a reason for every cycling fan!

The route of the Super Giro Dolomiti leads over 228 kilometers from Lienz via the Gailberg and the Plöckenpass to Italy, with the aim of Monte Zoncolan. Then it goes back to Carinthia. The participants of the 112 -kilometer dolomite cycling tour start at 9:30 a.m. in Lienz and take a wonderful route through the Gailtal and Lesachtal to the city. The first cyclists: The inside of the Super Giro is expected at 12:30 p.m. at Johannesplatz in Lienz, followed by the participants: inside of the Dolomite cycle tour at around 1:30 p.m., as Gailtal Journal.

Preparations for cycling highlight also have some traffic disruptions. From Saturday, 6 p.m., Amlacher Strasse between Enzianfeld and Christoph-Zanon-Straße will remain closed until Sunday, 12 p.m. In Lienz, various roads such as Georg-Hauger-Platz, Messinggasse and Rosengasse will also be temporarily impassable.   • B 100 (state border to Oberdrauburg) - 9:40 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
  • B 110 (Oberdrauburg to Kötschach) - 9:40 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
  • B 111 (Kötschach to the national border Maria Luggau) - 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (continuous lock)
