Euregio youth wind orchestra: Big concert on June 20 in Mayrhofen!

Mayrhofen, Österreich - On June 20, 2025, the Euregio youth wind orchestra in the Europahaus Mayrhofen will give a highly expected concert. The performance begins at 7 p.m. and admission is free. However, the organizers recommend an early reservation, because with such a highlight the hut will certainly get full. The wind orchestra consists of talents from the brass music associations from Tyrol, South Tyrol and the Trentino, which have already spoken about several concerts in 2025. In order to inspire the audience with wonderfully sounding music, numerous young musicians have come together to show their skills and make valuable contacts.

The final concerts are scheduled for the period from July 25th to 27th, 2025 and take place in all three parts of the country. This includes an appearance at La Rocca in Riva del Garda on July 25th at 5:30 p.m., followed by a concert in the Euregio-Kulturzentrum Gustav Mahler in Toblach on July 26th at 6:00 p.m., and the grand finale in the courtyard of the Hofburg in Innsbruck on July 27th at 10:00 a.m. During the musical direction, conductors from the three regions, including Andreas Waldner from Tyrol, Hannes Schrötter from South Tyrol and Franco Puliaafito from the Trentino, will do their best to motivate the young talents to perform at top performance.

Governor Anton Mattle emphasizes the cultural importance of music for the regions and also reminds of the 100th anniversary of the Tyrol of the Word Music Association in 2025. This is one more reason to celebrate the events and to indicate the musical performances.

For young musicians between the ages of 16 and 30 who have reached at least the Silver achievement badge, there is the opportunity to take part in a rehearsal week in the period from 19 to 27 July 2025. This week will start with register samples under specialist officers: start and overall samples from Tuesday before the final concerts start. In order to be able to be there, the participation fee is 150 euros, which includes the meals, accommodation, grades and arrival and departure by bus. The selection of the participants: The inside of the brass music associations is made after registration and payment.
