100 years of Musikverein Arzberg: Festival of the community in Passail!

Passail, Österreich - On Saturday, June 7, 2025, the Musikverein Arzberg celebrated a very special anniversary in the raabur jumping hall in Passail: its 100th anniversary. On the occasion of this festive opportunity, a large district wind music meeting took place, in which a total of 18 brass music bands performed, including a formation of upper grass in South Tyrol. Even ten years after the community merging, the Musikverein has retained its independence and currently has around 50 active members. This makes it clear that the musical community has deep roots and is still very popular.

The event started with warm greetings from various guests of honor. MeinDägzirk reports that Mayor Patrick Rosenberger highlighted the connecting strength of the music, while Patrick Derler Governor, the importance of youth work focused on. Mayor Peter Manfred Harrer and district captain Heinz Schwarzbeck brought their congratulations and thanked everyone who volunteers in the club.

A special highlight of the event was the honor of Johann Stübinger for his impressive 70-year membership. For this he received the honorary certificate in gold. In addition, numerous other members were awarded for their longstanding loyalty and excellent performance. Among other things, the following musicians received special honors:

The musical framework of the festival took over the imperial musicians , whose concert formed a special highlight. mvarzberg emphasizes that not only the domestic brass music bands were represented, but also friends from Oberrasen enriched the evening with their musical contributions. The concert started at 9:00 p.m., which offered the audience a colorful musical pleasure.

The importance of the brass music community
