New faces, new plans: PSC Leoben relies on community and paddle fun!
Leoben, Österreich - The Paddelsportclub Leoben (PSC Leoben) recently made a change of leadership: Shankara Ulbrich and Kilian Neumann take over the reins of Lukas Neumayr and Simon Honc. These changes were announced on Friday morning, which ensures a fresh wind for many members of the association. The new team agreed that it is now time to strengthen the community thoughts and to further promote the joy of paddle sport - an approach that has often been neglected in recent years. The two new adhesives are motivated to take strategic steps to lead PSC Leoben into a successful future, especially with a view to upcoming events.
An equally important date for paddling athletes is just around the corner: The International Mur Challenge will take place on September 20. The new management team of the PSC is already planning regular trips to optimally prepare for this event. So anticipation is the order of the day, even if the past two years have not been easy for the club.
dragon boat festival canceled again
The Paddelsportclub Leoben must make the difficult decision again this year to cancel the popular dragon boat festival. The event planned in 2024 cannot be implemented on the Mur due to budgetic bottlenecks and the complicated flow conditions. This is the second time in a row that the festival cannot take place - a bitter pill for the paddlers and the entire community, which was always very excited about this event. However, the association leaves the possibility of catching up for the dragon boat festival in another place, such as the Trabochersee, at a later date, provided that a suitable organizer can be found.
