Mayor Spirk confirmed as chairman of the Hartberg-Fürstenfeld nursing association

The Hartberg-Fürstenfeld nursing association was newly constituted in a remarkable meeting. At the constituent meeting in Hartberg there was a clear favorite: Mayor Herbert Spirk from Bad Loipersdorf was unanimously elected chairman of the young association. This was only founded in March 2023 and appears as a legal successor to the Hartberg-Fürstenfeld social welfare association. The nursing association has taken responsibility for several institutions. According to the Styrian Nursing Home Act, which has been in force since November 1, 2003, every inpatient facility that cares for more than six must have a corresponding permit. All nursing homes of the association are therefore subject to the strict requirements of this legal norm, which should guarantee high -quality care and support for those in need. The state government and the district administration are responsible for supervision and approval, whereby a large number of homes are already being successfully operated in the Hartberg-Fürstenfeld district.

Overall, there are 160 nursing homes in Styria that take care of the needs of their residents. In particular, the possibility of financial support for people in need of care by the social welfare association represents an important building block to ensure fair and fair care.
