Large two -stroke exit: 100 drivers conquer the streets of Lungitz!

There was a happy hustle and bustle at the forecourt of the Unterlungitz fire brigade, where the third Lungitzer two -stroke exit took place. On June 21, 2025, around 100 moped and vespa -drivers rolled into the event, which was organized by the classic car friends St. Johann in the Haide and the piston ribbon Unterlungitz. The participants were able to look forward to a varied route of around 70 kilometers, which led through the beautiful district of Hartberg-Fürstenfeld and Burgenland. The vehicles, including the Puch MV50 and the Puch SilverSpeed, brought a particularly large number of nostalgics to indulgence.

The event was ceremoniously opened by Vice Mayor Christoph Miksch and classic car friends President Helmut Haidwagner. "It is fantastic to see how many people are enthusiastic about the old treasures," said Miksch and emphasized the importance of such events for the cohesion in the community. Helmut Haidwagner and Mark Klampfl once again organized a great event.

Culinary delights and support for the fire brigade

The members of the Unterlungitz volunteer fire brigade took care of the physical well -being, which were diligently responsible for the catering for the hungry drivers. After the exit, more than 30 culinary baskets were raffled off, which came together thanks to generous donations. The entire net proceeds benefit the fire brigade, which not only makes the event an experience for the eye, but also a valuable support for the local helpers.

Another highlight awaits lovers of old vehicles on August 10, 2025 when the large classic car meeting takes place in the St. Johann sports facility. Both youngtimers and classic classic cars are cordially invited here. Such events are not only a feast for the eyes, they also offer the opportunity to exchange ideas among lovers and contribute to maintaining the historical heritage.
