Successful market day: Lebenshilfe Hartberg inspires with diversity!

Fürstenfeld, Österreich - The market day of the St. Johann daily workshop in the Haide was a complete success and attracted numerous visitors last Saturday. The event not only offered a wide range of products, but also the opportunity for people with and without disabilities to get into conversation together and to exchange valuable experiences. When the weather was nice you could experience the creative atmosphere of the Workshops of Lebenshilfe Hartberg.

Special highlight of the day was the show pottery, in which the guests could look over their shoulders to the talented artists while working. The mood was high all day and the number of visitors exceeded all expectations. Mayor Günter Müller, Heidrun Notbauer as chairwoman of Lebenshilfe Hartberg and Heike Niederl, the professional management, warmly welcomed the present.

variety of products

The product selection at the market day was very desirable. Handmade ceramic decoration and gifts were offered as well as a selection of spices, liqueurs, baking mixes and so-called jerk-sugar dishes. These high -quality products come from the Workshops of Lebenshilfe Hartberg in Pöllau, Vorau, Neudau and St. Johann in the Haide, and are the result of creative and committed work by people with disabilities, supported by specialist personnel. The products can be purchased all year round in the day workshops, where the doors are open from Monday to Thursday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. and Fridays until 2 p.m.

The appealing ceramic items are manufactured under the brand name. The cost-bar product line includes tasteful spices and baking mixes, while the wood-bar has creative gifts such as storks and insect hotels. In addition, practical bags and backpacks from different textiles are produced in the sewing bar that promise good business. A special sales team advises interested parties in the workshops and when selling at markets and in retail.
