Magnificent atmosphere at the morning pint of the Rossegg fire brigade!

The weather was ideal when the Rossegg volunteer fire brigade celebrated its traditional morning pint. On June 1, 2025, the starting signal was given to a social event, which offered visitors a real cooperation in warm temperatures and windless sky. As meinbezirk.at reported, the event spoiled its guests with a warm "welcome swallow". Admission was free, instead many followed the call to support with voluntary donations.

The morning pint took place at the sports field, where the fire brigade set up large parasols to offer the guests protection from the sun. An elaborate marquee solution was dispensed with for organizational and financial reasons, but this did not detract from the mood. Young fire brigade members were active and served drinks at the tables.

Culinary delights and musical entertainment

The menu was impressive. Whether crispy schnitzel, spicy liver cheese rolls or hearty sausages with salad - there was something for every taste. There were also exciting activities for the little visitors such as bouncy castles, a make -up station and bungee jumping. The "Innviertel Buam" took over the musical accompaniment, which provided the perfect mood with an entertaining mix of Oberkrainern, hits and evergreens.

The event was also the place to celebrate success: the Rossegger performance group had twice the previous day to be happy. They achieved first place in the bronze B competition and third place at the parallel competition in Hitzendorf. HBI Gerd Grinschgl was enthusiastic about the lively participation and support from the village community, while Obi Florian Thomann from FF Mettersdorf praised the solidarity and the exchange between the fire brigades.

Fire brigade festivals in Lower Austria

Fire brigade festivals are not only an important part of the local community, but also a central source of income for the helpers. These events are essential for the financing of repairs and new purchases in the fire brigades. Various fire brigade parties recently took place in all of Lower Austria, as the interesting facts compiled. The current festivals included the FF Wagram fire brigade festival in Traismauer and the festival in Reinsberg.

Such events are deeply rooted in the tradition of the fire brigade, which has been established in emergencies since the end of the 19th century. The commitment of the volunteer firefighters, who often pursue their regular professions and are still ready to go into commitment to the general public, is truly remarkable.

Overall, those present enjoyed a successful morning pint that not only strengthened the cohesion in the community, but also provided a lot of joy and entertainment. The team of the Rossegg volunteer fire brigade can look back on a successful day!
