Wiener Neustadt, Österreich - On June 5, 2025, the fourth Airport Run was held at Graz Airport. At this special event, the runners had the opportunity to make their rounds on a section of the runway while active flight operations. A total of 800 sports enthusiasts took part in this unique run, including members of the Running Team Lannach, who provided remarkable results.

The route of the Airport Runs was 5.8 kilometers. The performance of Heimo Steith, which took fourth place with a time of 20:57 minutes, is particularly noteworthy. Further placements of the team were 11th place with 21:48 minutes and Patrick Mai in 13th place with 22:04 minutes. Hannes Schneebauer and Bernhard Rumpf also did their best and ended the run in places 37 and 54.

On the same day, the savings banks also took place on the Red Bull Ring, in which Christian Geg from Running Team Lannach achieved a particularly remarkable time of 14:45 minutes over 4.3 kilometers and thus achieved the 5th place in the overall ranking. In the team classification, he, Markus Hartinger and Michael Kügerl, contributed decisively to victory in the men's category.

not to forget Hans Christian Gremsl, who also took part in the Running Team Lannach at the Sparkassen company run in Wiener Neustadt. Here he completed the 4.6-kilometer route through the city center in a time of 15:28 minutes and secured 14th place in the men's overall ranking.

As already announced in advance, the timekeeping of Run's Airport Runs is taken over by Race Result. It is important to know that the chip for time measurement is integrated directly into the start number, so that there are no additional fees for a chip rental. Material points were also set up for the participants - a labest station was waiting for the runners. The fastest teams in different categories (male, mixed, female) were awarded in the team classification and a special price raffle took place among all participants. The prices could be picked up on site, the presence for the raffle was a prerequisite. The award ceremony and the raffle for special prices took place at 8:15 p.m. Parking was also available, and the participants were able to park for a discounted tariff of five euros in the P3, P4 and P5 parking spaces. Safety instructions of the staff must be followed during the event, in particular the regulation not to leave the marked running route and the event area.
