World record and party: Line Dance Alpfestival inspires 1300 guests!

Zell am See-Kaprun, Österreich - In the picturesque backdrop of Zell am See-Kaprun, the annual line dance Alpfestival instead. The region turned into a paradise for lovers of country feeling and Western flair for four days, and the interest was huge: around 1,300 guests from ten different nations set off to become part of this special event.

The festival combines people from Austria, Belgium, Germany, Lithuania, Switzerland, Poland, the Netherlands, Spain, France and Italy and offers the participants: a varied program inside. The highlight of the event was the ambitious world record attempt for the "highest country & Western Line Dance Workshop" at an impressive height of almost 2,000 meters. This record was officially confirmed by the Record Institute for Germany (RID) on Saturday.

a colorful program for everyone

The festival started on Thursday with the popular DJ night, which was accompanied by DJ Eagleeye Jimmy. On Friday, the participants had the opportunity to take part in various workshops with international coaches. This day was accompanied musically by the live band "Boots On!" in the marquee. The atmosphere was great and the dances attracted numerous fans.

On Saturday, the actual world record attempt was on the program. The participants: Inside were invited to dance to a specially composed choreography. The atmosphere was electrifying and the anticipation for the great event through the crowd. With DJ sets and other workshops, Saturday was a real festive day for all dance enthusiasts.

The event was celebrated on Sunday, with a traditional invasion and a morning pint that further strengthened the community among the participants. Manuel Resch, Managing Director of Zell am See-Kaprun Tourismus GmbH, spoke of the strong community and the high number of participants compared to the previous year, which makes the festival an indispensable part of the event calendar.
