Creative students from Saalfelden support Ghana with a grill salt campaign

Zell am See, Österreich - On June 11, 2025, class 5a of the Hib Saalfelden expressed its creative streak and at the same time set a sign of solidarity. On the occasion of the Father's Day, the students decided to do something very special - a "Father's Day gift with added value". The action included the production of homemade grill salt, which was packed in lovingly decorated glasses with specially designed labels. The whole thing was accompanied by a handmade recipe book that underlines the peculiarity of the gift.

The innovative project was created in the teaching framework of the subjects of computer science and English, led by the dedicated teachers Prof. Ursula Neumayer, Prof. Anna Gruber and Prof. Sigrid Kendlbacher. The students were actively involved in all facets of the project, from collecting the glasses to the design of advertising posters to organizing and supporting a sales stand. The focus and teamwork was in the foreground, but the goal was clear: The proceeds from the campaign will benefit the educational project "Stepping Stones" in Ghana, which aims to improve everyday school life and the educational access for children in need. According to [meinzirk.at] (https://www.meinbezirk.at/pinzgau/c-regionauten-community/kreative-solidaritaet-zum-der-der-Saalfelden-Unterstuetz- in-ghana_a7373393), the entire proceeds are direct support for the pupils Location.

The Stepping Stones project

The “Stepping Stones” project is not just a name, but a lifesaver for many children in Ghana. It was launched to break through the vicious cycle of child labor and a lack of education. In areas such as Hobor, a small village about two hours of car from Accra, poverty and violence are widespread in education, and only about one in three adults can read and write. These facts give the initiative a particularly important and urgent context. According to social-startups.de, the goal is to build a school for around 200 children who not only offers education, but also a regular everyday life, daily meals and clean drinking water.

The time frame for the construction of this school looks promising. The basic structure is already standing and only the last work is missing to put the training center into operation. The entire project is financed by donations and memberships, whereby the equipment of the classrooms and the necessary teaching material are also supported. Long -term plans include sponsorships for students and teachers to generate additional resources.

The students: Inside the 5a, their commitment not only set a sign of their own Father's Day, but also sent out a strong signal of hope. They prove that creative ideas can achieve far -reaching effects. Your action impressively shows how each of us can make a contribution to improve the living conditions of others. A real role model that inspires and stimulates thought!

It is obvious that the collaboration between institutions and schools such as the HIB Saalfelden with projects such as "Stepping Stones" not only acts in education, but also promotes the future potential of the next generation. This approach could cause far -reaching changes and create a new perspective in the world, while the challenges of the present are addressed at the same time.
