Future Piesendorf: Bridge to the community and wanderlust for children!

Piesendorf, Österreich - The association "Future Piesendorf" plays a central role in the life of the community. Founded in 2020, the association has established itself with around ten active members as an important point of contact for the residents: inside. Chairman Wolfram Bründl emphasizes that the club acts as a bridge to the community and emphasizes the importance of passing on information about events in the village. Due to the close networking within the community, the association enables effective communication between citizens and politics. This emphasizes the strength of the local Engagement.

One of the most important projects in the association is the annual holiday calendar. Here the diverse offers for children are summarized during the summer vacation. The activities range from exciting fire and red cross evenings to police visits to company visits. Registration losses for the individual program items must be observed, whereby the registration is made by email or by phone. Some program items are even free of charge, while for others a small contribution of expenses has to be paid on site. It is pointed out that participation happens at your own risk. The legal guardians must also agree to the publication of photos, unless they expressly express the desire for non-publication.

healthy community and civic engagement

Piesendorf has big plans for the future: The title “Healthy Community” will be awarded next year. The association has been working on this goal for two and a half years and is organized as part of its lectures on health issues. This focus on health not only reflects the association's commitment, but is also part of a broader initiative to promote the quality of life in the region.

The concept of "committed city", which was launched in 2015, aims to create good framework conditions for civic engagement and participation. People from non -profit organizations, public administration and companies work together to develop solidarity communities. In recent years, reliable networks have emerged that improve the framework conditions for local commitment. The program has so far produced over 110 committed cities and is focusing on increased networking at regional and state level, especially since the fourth program phase from 2024.

Overall, it can be seen that the “Future Piesendorf” association not only provides social and cultural offers, but also works on a healthy and committed community. The combination of local activities, health -promoting initiatives and support from networks has a positive effect on life in Piesendorf and creates a lively, co -designed neighborhood.
