Raiffeisenbank supports mountain rescue St. Johann with new clothes!

In the picturesque region around St. Johann, a valuable partnership between the Raiffeisenbank St. Johann - Wagrain - Kleinarl and the mountain rescue St. Johann manifest itself. The bank has generously donated T-shirts to the active members of the mountain rescue, four pieces per member. This not only complements the equipment, but also a uniform and professional appearance in operations, exercises and official occasions. Martin Stifter, head of the St. Johann mountain rescue center, was grateful for this support, which is of great importance for volunteer organizations. This regional partnership strengthens the foundation of mountain rescue and shows how important working with local companies is. Klaus Santner from the management of Raiffeisenbank also underlined the importance of the volunteer and wishes the team every success in their missions, which often take place under challenging conditions.

The mountain rescue has established itself as an indispensable partner in the region in recent years. Often the locations in the mountains are particularly remote and cannot be achieved with vehicles, which means long journey routes. On these steep and challenging terrain types, the emergency services of the mountain rescue are often exposed to the weather and have to trust their extensive training. Emergency medical care of patients require quick and professional action, especially in the high season of hikers, mountaineers and paragliders, which are increasingly dependent on the help of mountain rescue in the spring and summer months. In winter, the operations focus primarily on winter sports enthusiasts and the avalanche rescue.

The importance of voluntary commitments

The voluntary commitment that is carried out by the mountain rescue St. Johann and other organizations should not be underestimated. Mountains are both on a voluntary basis and professional, which means that members often help in their free time and without payment when people are in need. This combination of specialist knowledge and commitment makes it possible to provide quick and effective help, especially if every second counts. According to the German Red Cross, such services are of great importance in other regions and prove that community work and regional support have to go hand in hand to ensure security in the mountains.

The generous donation of the Raiffeisenbank to the mountain rescue St. Johann is another example of the good hand of the bank when it comes to promoting local initiatives. This not only shows that the bank knows and appreciates its roots in the region, but also that it actively contributes to strengthening the volunteer, which is more important than ever today.

The support of the mountain rescue is very much appreciated by the entire community and illustrates that we have a strong partner at our side in an emergency. With a uniform and professional appearance, mountain rescue will be ready and equipped in order to meet the many challenges that the mountains entail. A big thank you to everyone who volunteers - you are the backbone of our security in the mountains!
