Musical joy inspires 700 spectators in Eberstalzell!

A true festival of music and theater recently celebrated in Eberstalzell! The musical "joy", a joint project of the music association, the middle school and the elementary school, was staged under the direction of conductor Norbert Baumgartner. Thanks to the dedicated elementary school teachers Evelyn Bemetz and Cornelia Kramesberger, who took over the project management, the first ideas were able to sprout in spring 2024. The preparations are not a sugar flicker - the students tried for the exciting performances for a whole year.

In April 2025 the time had come: Two brilliant performances were on the program, on which a total of 126 players were able to participate. Around 700 visitors did not miss the spectacle and experienced a harmonious interaction from singing, dance and acting performance, with soloists like Vera Huemer and Mathias Mittermair provided particularly emotional moments. There was also support from Manfred Lebelhuber, who led the audience through history as a narrator. Stage designs, props and costumes also came from the ranks of the students, which were designed with great attention to detail.

The response to the musical was consistently positive. The project is rated as a successful cross -school cooperation that not only brought out the talents of the children, but also strengthened the cooperation in the community. "After all, music is not only what we hear, but also what we experience together," said an entertaining comment from one of the spectators. And that is exactly what this event conveyed: to celebrate joy together!
