Pavilion Festival 2025: Music, fun and brass music at the big festival!

The municipality of Nußdorf am Attersee is all about music on the weekend of June 6, 2025. This Saturday and Sunday, the Musikverein Nußdorf organizes the pavilion festival 2025 . The event not only promises excellent musical performances, but also an atmosphere that invites you to linger. On Saturday the festival will be opened at 5:00 p.m. with the "Hoizstock Cup", followed by a festive start at 7:00 p.m. with the popular brass band ceska .

The brass band Ceska, which has tirelessly promoted Bohemian-Moravian brass music since it was founded in 1989, is one of the highlights of the festival. Under the direction of chairman Günther Reisegger and Kapellmeister Gottfried Reisegger, the chapel not only brings local sounds, but has also developed international recognition through appearances in countries such as China, the USA, Vietnam, Malaysia, South Africa and the emirates. Their versatile repertoire includes classic brass music as well as popular pieces for entertainment evenings and even brought them the European championship title of Bohemian-Moravian brass music in 2014 and the victory at the Grand Prix of Blasmusik 2019.

Sunday begins early with a morning pint at 10:00 a.m., followed by musical entertainment by the Junuts and the Feldbirla Tanzlmusi. The entire event takes place at every weather, so visitors don't have to worry about the weather. This event is not only an opportunity to enjoy great music, but also an excellent way to meet friends and family and to celebrate the variety of brass music together.

A special focus should also be on the Austrian brass music museum , which is based in Oberwölz, Murau district. It is a real treasure chest for everyone who is interested in the history and development of brass music and shows over 600 m² of exhibits that bring visitors closer to the feeling for the rich cultural tradition of brass music. The museum is not only a point of contact for music lovers, but also offers unique insights into the instrument diverse, including rare pieces such as the baton by Franz Lehár.
