Mühlviertel Classic 2025: Oldtimer on the go for a good cause!

Urfahr-Umgebung, Österreich - in the Mühlviertel in June 2025 again rolls a very special event: the Mühlviertel Classic, a charity event that not only makes the heart of classic car lovers beat faster, but also benefits socially disadvantaged people in the region. From 19 to 21 June 2025, around 130 teams navigate through the picturesque landscape north of the Danube and collect for a good cause. According to information from Meinbezirk.at the event has already contributed over 350,000 euros for social purposes since its foundation, and preparations for 2025 are already in full swing.

The motto of the event, "whoever helps quickly helps twice", emphasizes the commitment of the organizers. Auxiliary performances aim to support people in social hardship cases, such as widows with children or humans after disasters. Around 50,000 euros flowed to those affected last year. The participants carry these socially committed thoughts into the hearts of the spectators who are expected at the parade of classic cars from numerous communities in the Urfahr-Umgebung district.

The event traditionally starts with a prologue on Corpus Christi Day, directly at the Hotel Freigold in Freistadt, from 11 a.m. The first classic cars are expected from 3:15 p.m. in the heart of Freistadt. On the following days the trip continues via Bad Leonfelden and Oberneukirchen to the Rohrbach district, where a lunch break is planned at the Feldkirchner bathing lake.

One of the special features of the Mühlviertel Classic is the varied route. On the first day, the routes lead through the municipalities of Vorderweißenbach, Bad Leonfelden, Reichenau, Alberndorf, Feldkirchen and many more. On the last day, exciting special tests are on the program in the Sportarena Liebenau, Holzwerk Ortner in Tragwein and ABF in Hagenberg before going back to Hotel Freigold at 3 p.m.
