Agriculture School Andorf: Third at the Federal Football Tournament!
Hollabrunn, Österreich - Last week the Andorf agricultural school was happy to receive a great success: The students of the institute took third place at the Federal football tournament" Agricultural technical schools in Hollabrunn. This sets a strong sign of girls' football in the region.
For the first time, girls' teams were also at the start at this tournament, which made the competition even more exciting. A total of ten students from LFS Andorf took part with full vigor. They had intensively prepared for this event in their free time, which was also reflected in their performance. The students were also able to benefit from the coaches of the women's team in Peuerbach, who gave them the opportunity to train. This support was not only a valuable experience, but also promoted team spirit and motivation within the team. Their common goal is to cut even more successfully in the coming year and to further strengthen girls' football at the school.
In autumn, training is already on the schedule for the next season. The ambition is unbroken: the team wants to do even better at the next tournament and significantly exceed the previous performance.

The cheers for third place goes beyond school. Women's football in general is enjoyable. In December 2021, the DFB Presidium decided on the “Strategy Women in Football FF27”, which aims to promote female football at all levels. This strategy includes everything from talented youth work to the support of trainers and referees. According to the DFB, the number of active players and trainers should increase by 25 percent by 2027, and the proportion of women in management positions should be at least 30 percent.
