Gymnastics club Ried celebrates double victory: national championship title for Beck and Baumgartner!

Braunau am Inn, Österreich - What's going on in Ried? The last events show that there are plenty of exciting developments in the region. María Beck and Elias Baumgartner from the Ried gymnastics club had great success at the state championships and won two titles for their club. This is not only a reason for the joy for the two athletes, but also for the entire gymnastics community, which is happy about such outstanding achievements. As reported meinbezirk.at, the atmosphere at the championships was awarded and the winner was a highlight of the competition.

But there is also fresh impulses outside the gymnastics circus: in two weeks, from June 15th to 17th, a peace hike from Braunau to Schärding will be much more than just steps. Paul Zauner organizes the event as part of the "Festival of the Regions", which will take place in the Innviertel for the first time this year. This hike, which was drawn up by photographer and Innviertel expert Andreas Mühlleitner, aims to reach many people - regardless of their reason for participation. It is an invitation to stand up for a better and peaceful future.

Festival of the Regions 2025

The festival of the regions, which is under the motto "Realistic dreams" this year, takes place in Braunau am Inn from June 13th to 22nd. For the first time it is moving to the Innviertel and the city becomes the heart of this unique cultural event. [TIPS.AT] (https://www.tips.at/nachrichten/636658-festival-der- Regions-2025-mit-reae-rae-erstmals-In-In-Viertel) emphasizes that the festival is carried out every two years in a new region of Upper Austria and that it is currently paying special attention to a new narrative and utopia.

With a variety of events such as workshops, discussions, performances and exhibitions, the festival offers an excellent platform for local cultural actors and international artists to realize their ideas and projects. Over 100 events are planned to put the exchange and participation in the foreground, as well as fdr.at. The focus is on how art and culture illuminate great social issues - from home to migration - and what role you can play in rural areas.

A look into the future

The city of Braunau, eleven years after the last festival, is ready for the challenges and opportunities that such cultural initiatives bring. Mayor Johannes Waidbacher underlined the integration of the neighboring town of Simbach into the festival, which should promote the cross -border exchange. Governor Thomas Stelzer also announced an improved support budget for 2025, which underlines the value of this art and cultural event.

The anticipation for the festival of the regions is noticeable and promises not only art and entertainment, but also discussions about the big topics of our time. The hike from Braunau to Schärding adds a special dimension and shows that joint steps towards peaceful coexistence are more than ever in demand.
