Nine innovative start-ups from Upper Austria are awarded!

In Upper Austria, a lot is happening in the start-up scene! The founding agency Tech2B recently celebrated the successful graduates of the growth program "Incubate" and honored nine promising companies for their innovations. With over 557 projects supervised in the past 21 years, Tech2B has impressively demonstrated that young entrepreneurs not only support it, but actively support them in the way to successful companies. Economic State Councilor Markus Achleitner (VP) presented the awards in a solemn ceremony that put the commitment and creativity of the local founders into the spotlight, such as [Nachrichten.at] (https://www.nachrichten.at/wirtschaft/tech2b-9-start-ups-erhielten-awards ;art15,4056814).

Among the excellent start-ups can be found companies that are active in a wide variety of areas. Voidsy from Wels stands out, with its innovative technology for 3D defect analysis in the aviation and automotive industry. Another remarkable company is Blankmile from Ried im Innkreis, which offers industrial customers a platform for the long -distance solution of technical problems. Simventure from Grieskirchen also shows that Upper Austria's start-ups are internationally competitive, because they presented their sports simulators for wingsuit flies and mountain bike downhill at a trade fair in Dubai.

The list of excellent start-ups is proof of the diversity and the innovation spirit in the region:

  • voidsy -3D defect analysis for components
  • Blankmile - platform for problem solving for industrial customers
  • Simventure - sports simulators for international trade fair appearance
  • airmate - air and space innovations

According to the "Austrian Start-Up Monitor", two thirds of the Upper Austrian start-ups also have other companies than customers, which underlines the focus on B2B solutions. It is particularly impressive that 44 percent of the company's foundations take place in the region of IT and software development, which is significantly higher than in many other federal states, such as tech2b.

new players in the health and technology industry

There are other promising start-ups that have not been awarded, but still cause a stir. Akriva - Adliance GmbH from Linz, for example, develops software for the health sector that meets legal requirements as a medical device. Also innovative furniture concepts such as the Balcosy® from Flowfactory from Linz set new standards in living space use.

Another highlight is the bioresorbable screw, which promises new treatment options in oral, jaw and facial surgery. Instead of titanium, bioresorbable alloys are used here that promote the wound healing process and make a second surgical intervention unnecessary.

In summary, it can be said: The start-up landscape in Upper Austria is blooming and shows impressively that not only creative minds, but also innovative technologies are on the rise here. With the support of founding programs and a committed community, the young entrepreneurs seem to be well equipped to master the challenges of the future.
