The Borg Perg impressively presented itself at the school beach cup in Marchtrenk and secured the title of the Vizelandesmeister in beach volleyball. In this important competition, which is organized by meinzirk.at, the talented students started with three teams to prove their skills.
The weather was varied, from sunshine to light rain, but the atmosphere on the beach volleyball court remained positive. The Borg Perg team started strongly in the main competition by making it a clear victory in all three encounters: both with the girls as well as in mixed and in the Boys competition.

The other games made the heart of every volleyball fans beat faster. With a clear 2: 1 victory against HTL Steyr 1 and the BRG Schloss Wagrain, the team continued to draw attention to itself. In the quarter-finals, there was an impressive 3-0 victory that catapulted the team directly into the semi-finals. Here the students were able to shine again: 2-1 against the Sportborg Linz. The subsequent final matchup against the Peuerbach-Gymnasium unfortunately ended with a narrow 1: 2, but the runner-up title remains a great success for the Borg Perg.
Overall, the team made up of motivated players: Lisa Aichinger, Magdalena Gaßner, Matthias Irnstorfer, Leonhard Payer, Moritz Perstorfer, Klara Trauner and Alicia Smidt proved team spirit and can demonstrate. They were supported by their supervisors, the professor: inside Lydia Trauner, Sabine Hoschek and Niklas Etlinger, who come from the Mühlviertel Volleys.
Quattro-Mixed competition and future prospects
In the Quattro-Mixed competition, the Borg Perg also competed with two teams. The second team, despite a opening of the opening, was able to prevail against the PTS Vöcklabruck and the Francis Gymnasium Wels and reached 5th place in the overall classification.
