The training is part of the NETIF 2 initiative and is funded by public funds, so that the costs for accommodation, journey and meals are completely covered during the training. In addition, the participation fee of 100 euros will be fully refunded after successful completion. On October 9, 2025, the first of a total of seven modules begins to take place on two weekends a month.

In a time when intercultural approaches are becoming increasingly important, a study by the Council of Experts of German Foundations for Integration and Migration shows that daycare centers in Germany are often not sufficient for the diverse needs of families with a migration background. According to the examination, only 27% of the daycare centers are able to actually open their offers intercultural. This means that many parents with a migration background face challenges when it comes to the formation of their children. Intercultural parenting is aimed at reducing these barriers and establishing an appreciative relationship between specialists and parents.
