Steegen, Österreich - The Obererleinsbach volunteer fire brigade celebrates twice this year: From July 10th to 12th, the large fire brigade festival will take place in Steegen, which will be organized on the occasion of the 130th anniversary of the weir. The old vehicle, which was on duty for 32 years, is replaced by a modern model that meets the current requirements. The total costs for the TLF A2000 amount to around 440,600 euros. The state of Upper Austria borne 51% of the costs, which means that the fire brigade and the municipality have to raise the remaining funds. On March 30, 2023, the fire brigade received a funding commitment over 341,000 euros for the vehicle. The legal and financial steps to the procurement of the new fire truck were decided in 2019, and the order took place on May 30, 2023. The delivery is expected for early 2025.
