Jan Hutterer: Table tennis talent shines despite defeat in Freistadt!
On May 31, 2025, the U13 table tennis championship took place in Freistadt. The 12-year-old Jan Hutterer from TuS Raiffeisen Kremsmünster, who was able to qualify among 48 male participants as one of two players for the championship. This was his first time at a state championship, which he worked with great anticipation, such as [meinzirk.at] (https://www.meinbeinbzirk.at/kirchdorf/c-sport/aus- towards-top- player_a7354937).
In the individual competition, however, Hutterer had to fight strong opponents and was unable to win in the preliminary round. In doubles he competed with his partner David Gaisbauer from Mauthausen. The duo had a difficult start, was initially 0: 2 in sets against a strong Tyrolean double. But a tactical change from her coach made sure that they could fight back and won the next two sentences. The Tyrolean team was unsettled in the decisive sentence, and Hutterer/Gaisbauer finally won the victory. Unfortunately, the round of 16 against the number 1 of the tournament, Fegerl/Chen Sung, was that for the duo. Despite the defeat, the two will remember the experience of gaining such a top -class player.
successes at the last championships
A completely different picture recently showed up in the last championship game of the year for the sixth team of TuS Raiffeisen Kremsmünster. In an exciting final match against Roßleithen/Spital 6, Jan Hutterer, who has been younger for a few years younger than his competitor, was back in top shape. At the age of only 9, he was able to win two single games and a double victory together with Al Deyab. For Hutterer it was a nice confirmation of his progress, and the entire team showed a balanced performance that led to a clear success. Around 22 young players of the TuS are in training and show remarkable progress, while the parents and grandparents support the training units, such as tips.at reports.
The commitment to young tales in table tennis seems to be paid out, as different youth tournaments show that have been taking place recently. At the Styrian Championships of the U11 to U19, which took place in Judenburg in early April, young talents such as Sebastian Haberl and EMA Somodi were able to celebrate considerable success and win gold medals in their respective categories. This illustrates the positive development in the youth area and confirms that the table tennis sport is very popular with the young athletes and junior model.at further supports this trend.
The ASVÖ State Championships, which will take place in Faak am See on June 14th and 15th June, 2025, are the next destination. With great ambitions and experience from the state championship, he goes to the next tournament and can look forward to new challenges.Details | |
