Slavnostní inaugurace nového farního Tassilo-Kremsmünstera!
A new milestone for the parish Tassilo-Kremsmünster was celebrated on July 1, 2025: The solemn inauguration of Pastor P. Klaus Zarzer-Besenböck, pastoral director Fabian Drack and administrative director Franz Schachner took place in the impressive parish and collegiate church of Kremsmünster. Vicar of General Severin Lederhilger took over the introduction, while numerous members from the 16 parishes and representatives of the communities were present.
The new parish was created from the Deanery Kremsmünster and sits down from the communities of Adlwang, Allhaming, Bad Hall, Egendendorf, Kematen an der Krems, Kremsmünster, Neuhofen an der Krems, parish churches near Bad Hall, Ried im Traunkreis, Rohr, Sattledt, Schleißheim, Sipbachzell, Steinhaus, Thalheim near Wels and Weißkirchen The Traun together. The decrees to start the parish were previously exposed to objections, but can now be put into force again, which is important for the dean's offices such as Andorf, Frankenmarkt, Ried im Innkreis and Kremsmünster. The new parish thus represents an important step in the restructuring of the church landscape in order to better consider the needs and concerns of the believers.
