District music festival in Hagenberg: Celebrate brass music for 125 years!

June 2025 , the music bands of the Freistadt district celebrate a very special anniversary celebration at the district music festival in the OÖV Sportpark. Under the motto "So young Kemma nimma z’samm" , the Musikverein Hagenberg invites you to a colorful program on the occasion of its 125th anniversary . According to Tips are expected to look forward to a festival with heart and music.

The activities on the festival start at 1:45 p.m. with the marching rating, in which 28 music clubs from the Freistadt district, the youth band Young Wood and Brass and a guest chapel from Haibach/Reichenau/Ottenschlag show their skills. At 7 p.m. there is a ceremony in which around 1,500 musicians make music together. That makes the heart of every music lover beat faster!

from 2 p.m. to the evening there is a diverse musical and culinary offer in the marquee. From 2 p.m. , great entertainment is offered for the visitors - atmospheric sounds in the home of the music association are in the top priority. From 5 p.m. entertain "D’Achüfn" with a mix of traditional and modern brass music. Later, from 8.30 p.m. , the "Woody Blech Peckers" will make the tent shake. The results of the marching ranking are finally announced at 10.30 p.m. .
