A look at the story

The roots of the fire brigade history go back to Roman times, as 21 BC. The first fire brigade in the Roman Empire was founded with 600 slaves. In the Middle Ages, municipalities were obliged to organize fire protection. This tradition of fire protection has been kept and shows how important the role of the fire brigade is in society. The voluntary fire brigades, such as those in Waldburg, were created from gymnastics clubs and have established themselves as indispensable institutions to ensure the safety of the population. Fire brigades have always been appreciated for their tireless operations worldwide, and fire service is often recognized as one of the most honest activities. [Wikipedia] offers a comprehensive overview of the interesting history of the fire brigade and its change over the centuries.

The festive end of the anniversary took place with a march together in the marquee, where Mörixbauer tapped the anniversary beer "1905". An atmospheric end for a weekend that not only celebrated the story, but also the present and future of the Waldburg volunteer fire brigade. The entire community was there and once again demonstrated how strong the feeling of togetherness and the pride of your own fire brigade are.
