Fire brigade inspires Laakirchner kindergarten children: Learning security in a playful way!
Recently, the kindergarten children of the municipality of Laakirchen had the unique opportunity to learn more about dealing with fire from the experts from the Oberweis fire brigade. A team around Commandant Maximilian Bichler visited four kindergartens in mid -May and delighted a total of 96 children and 11 children's educators with an exciting program that illuminates the dangers of fire and fires.
What can children learn about fire? The answer to this was brought closer to the little participants in a varied mix of theory and practice. During theoretical question games, the children gained knowledge about fire behavior and safety precautions. In the practical part, they were even allowed to lend a hand themselves: with a fire brigade injection, the children were able to inject on a destination and were photographed at exciting moments. These experiences not only have fun, but also promote understanding of the correct handling of fire.
sensitize at an early stage
fire has a strong attraction in humans and can donate both warmth and light and be dangerous. Children are particularly fascinated by this element and often do not recognize the associated dangers. Every year, due to carelessness and lack of knowledge about fire, numerous accidents happen. Therefore, early fire protection education is essential. For this purpose, the painting and workbook “Safe with Feuer & Flamme” offers playful approaches to impart fire protection knowledge. It contains creative painting tasks, puzzles and child -friendly information that raises the little helpers to the dangers and correct behaviors in the event of a fire. The Initiative is supported by numerous partners to enable the free distribution of these books to primary school children, which also increases the security situation.
in kindergarten and primary school, but also at home, the knowledge of dealing with fire should be regularly conveyed and practiced. Such an early clarification can help reduce the secret ignition and enable the children to respond and safely react in dangerous situations. Studies show that children who are informed about fire protection can better assess dangerous situations. The common responsibility of schools, parents and fire brigades plays a crucial role here.
thanks to the supporters
A special thank you to the Hessenberger savings market, which took care of the physical well -being of the children with pastries, and on bus trips Fröch, who took over the transport of kindergarten children. These small extras and the use of the fire brigade comrades, some of which sacrificed their vacation for the kindergarten program, contributed to the fact that this training became not only educational, but also unforgettable for the children. Finally, after the educational hours, the small fire heroes were safely brought back with fire engines to their starting points.
The initiative for fire protection education impressively shows how important it is to inform children early and playfully about the dangers of fire. These measures are of great importance in order not only to convey knowledge, but also to train skills in an emergency. The enthusiasm in the bright eyes of the children was the best proof that the action was a complete success.
