Great progress at the agricultural education center in Waizenkirchen!

Waizenkirchen, Österreich - The agricultural education center (ABF) in Waizenkirchen takes on forms and is the focus of an impressive construction site. With an investment volume of 41.3 million euros, the construction of the center is in full swing. OÖVP district party chairman Florian Hiegelsberger, Mayor Fabian Grünis and director Walter Raab recently visited the construction site to convince themselves of the progress. Hiegelsberger underlined the high importance of this educational location for the district of Grieskirchen. He also emphasized the ecological orientation of the project: The new building is designed as a "wood-hybrid building", which stands for both sustainability and modern architecture, such as meinbzirk.at reported.

But what exactly does the future students expect in the new training center? The ABS will be divided into three areas: the boarding school wing, the school wing and the workshop tract. From the school year 2026/27, around 350 students will be trained here who want to start their agricultural career. It should be emphasized that the boarding school will offer space for 153 students who can live and learn there. These infrastructural improvements are a real profit for the region and create valuable apprenticeships, as well as tips.at.

a new educational path

The offers of the agricultural education center are diverse. It sees itself as an important institution for specialist and vocational students who are striving for agricultural training. This training includes both the opportunity to take a skilled worker examination, as well as access to higher schools and master classes, such as on the website of the agricultural schools. In this way, graduates who have already attended a technical school can expand their knowledge and prepare for the master's examination.

The ABF will not only be another training location in the region, but also a lighthouse of sustainable education with a clear focus on the future requirements of agriculture. It remains exciting to observe how the construction develops and what positive impulses he will set for the Grieskirchen region.
