City festival Braunau: A festival for the whole family inspires the masses!

The city festival in Braunau am Inn was all about community and entertainment this year. On July 8, 2025, numerous visitors flocked: inside to the two festivals, which were ideally supplemented by the summer weather. Organized by the association "Braunau Aktiv" in close cooperation with the municipality of Braunau and regional sponsors, the festival attracted the festival with a colorful program for the whole family.

The event offered a wide range of attractions, including live music, various bars and a children's area that was particularly well received by the small festivals. Under the rides, the drop zone tower and the Crazy Wave stood out, which provided action and tension. With around 1000 available seats, it was particularly a challenge in the evening to get a place. Friday started at 4 p.m. with the "pleasure market", which offered an exciting children's program in addition to culinary delights. Music providers created the right mood from 8 p.m. when the "Dixie Rockers" performed on the "Schluckerl stage" at the city tower. At the same time, a DJ heated up the audience.

Saturday also offered a lot: already at 10 a.m. the festivities started with a morning pint, in which the Spielmannszug Braunau maintained the guests musically. After the opening of the pleasure market at 12 p.m., a rich children's program followed from 2 p.m. A special highlight was the motocross stun show with Lukas Höllbacher, which not only made children's eyes shine. In the evening, the "Geha Weida Gang" ensured the musical end of the festival.

The city festival in Braunau will also take place in the coming year: on Friday, July 5, 2024 and Saturday, July 6, 2024, preparations are already being made. Even then, visitors can look forward to a wide range of program highlights, including live music and the largest design moker in Europe, as braunau-simbach.info.

The admission prices also remain free of charge for the next edition, and the musical entertainment will last until 1 a.m. A special delicacy: A burger team will create the heaviest burgers of Austria on one of the days-you shouldn't miss that!
