What an exciting weekend is imminent in the Ausseerland! From May 29 to June 1, 2025, the region transformed into a blooming sea of ​​daffodils when the 65th Narcissus Festival is celebrated. This was heralded on May 29 in the Kur- & Congresshaus Bad Aussee with a solemn coronation night- around 300 guests were there when Magdalena Egger was crowned the new queen. The 24-year-old Bad Mitterdorf woman, who works in a sports trade and is actively involved in the rural youth, follows in the footsteps of her predecessor and will represent the Ausseerland Salzkammergut and Austria for one year.

The two princesses Johanna Murauer from Altmünster and Celina Gschaider from Seekirchen complete the new Highness Trio. Johanna is a social worker and studies gender, culture and social change, while Celina works as an elementary teacher and studies speech therapy. Each of the sovereigns will receive a magnificent costume equipment worth 2,500 euros.

The daffodil festival is Austria's largest flower festival and combines local traditions with the breathtaking nature of the salt chamber goods.
