Bad Ischl, Österreich - On June 2, 2025, the 29th Bad Ischler Sparkasse Katrin-Berglauf took place in the picturesque Bad Ischl. In optimal weather conditions that seemed almost as ordered for the participants, the event became a climax in the running calendar again. With over 300 runners who gathered for the competition, the mood was already awarded at the start number edition on Saturday. Andreas Pfandlbauer, the chairman of the team #badischllaeuft , gave positive insights into the registration situation and was happy about the lively interest.
The starting shot was found at 9 a.m. The route, which extended over 4.4 kilometers with a minimum of 1,000 meters, was a challenge for both professionals and hobby runners. Even if the route records were not undercut, the participating races offered exciting races.

Andrea Mayr from SVBichthletics took the lead with a time of 39:14 minutes. Amelie (Martini Speed Team/LCAV Jodl P.) took second and third place with 42:13 minutes and Kerstin Springer (Union Rohrbach-Berg) in 42:37 minutes. A runner who causes a sensation again and again shone for the men: Christian Hoffmann from the Suzuki Power Team could not be beaten with his 36:41 minutes. Daniel Rohringer (La Sportiva Mountain Running Team) followed with 37:47 minutes, while Felix Bleier (Excitingfit Running Team) secured third place with 38:21 minutes.
The relay competition, which was won by the participants of the TTC - Traunsee Trailrunning Club with a time of 38:06 minutes, was also particularly exciting. The second-placed season was happy about the eleven season tickets of the Katrin cable car. In addition, for the largest group in the main run, the ABF Zierler team, special prices were awarded at the subsequent celebration of the FF Windern tent festival.thanks to the supporters
A big thank you was given the over 70 helpers, sponsors and all supporters without whom such an event would not be possible. The municipality of Bad Ischl, the mountain rescue and the rescue workers were also included in the thanks.
The next highlight is already announced for the upcoming events: On August 2, the event Bad Ischler Re/Max Voigas17 takes over. There is also a special anniversary next year, because the 30. Bad Ischler Sparkasse Katrin-Berglauf takes place on June 14, 2026. It will be interesting to see which new records may be set up!
